The Mini Door sensor is a white, compact door sensor that detects doors opening and closing. The sensor uses abodeRF for long range. Under normal operating conditions, the Mini Door Sensor has a 4 year battery life.

Recessed Door/Window Sensor

For a completely transparent installation, the abode Recessed Door / Window sensor is installed in the door frame and is hidden. The sensor requires that you drill a hole in your door and frame. The sensor will detect when a door is opened or closed. By communicating with the abode Gateway, the sensor can cause the alarm to activate. Additionally, using configurable notifications, you can receive a mobile push notification any time a door/window is opened or closed. Note, if installed, this device can not be returned.

The Recessed Door Sensor functions exactly like our other door sensors and will send a signal every time the door is opened or closed. This sensor is one of the few sensors from abode that requires some minor handy work by using a drill to drill a hole in the door and frame to insert the sensor.

Slim Strip Sensor

The abode Slim Strip Door Sensor is an ultra-thin, wireless door contact that detects opening and closing of doors and windows. The slim design of the product allows you to discretely install the sensor and it can be embedded in door or window frames. The sensor requires a 1/4" gap between the frame and door or window. The sensor uses abodeRF technology for long range and great battery life. The sensor is only .16" thick and has a non-replaceable lithium-ion battery with an expected battery life (depending on usage) of 8 years.
